So let me get this straight. Alastor can't fulfill his fetch quest for Rosie to release him from his contract. Being the most powerful sinner in Hell for his servitude. He arranges to be captured by the V's. He makes new contract with Vox to spare Husk and Niffty, not lay a hand on Charlie and he becomes part of the V's as their prisoner. Alastor can break the forth wall and see where the story is going. He plans to set up Vox as the most powerful sinner breaking Rosie's contract and more than likely putting Vox in a situation where he can't avoid hurting Charlie breaking that contract as well. This gets him freedom but it doesn't get him back to full power. There's gotta be more to this or this convoluted mess is gonna be very anticlimactic.

This seems to be the one decent Hazbin thread up so I’ll post my musings here: but something that’s bothering me is how the hotel still feels rather irrelevant. It may be because the main plot with heaven is so overwhelming and done right out of the gate that we don’t really get to see the what daily life within the hotel looks like for our cast, specifically when it was run down. With the stakes being so large right of the gate everything feels like a constant go-go-go that does what should’ve been a simple yet solid premise a huge disservice.
Do we even see much of the hotel interior? Like where everyone sleeps or where the kitchen or laundry room is? That kind of stuff feels left out.

Vaggie doesn't have any other good romantic option. All of the sinners are non-starters for her for obvious reasons, she's not going to go for run-of-the-mill hellborn, and the other hell royalty are embodiments of sin or freaks like Stolas. Charlie is the best she's got.

Plus she fell for Charlie right after she fell from heaven, so her entire life in hell is built around Charlie.
