theyre just pure sugar, they dont really have a nice taste. its one of the few things i didnt understand about the cartoon.
they kind of just taste like chalk or bland toothpaste after a while.

they're probably broke/their parents wouldn't give them money for candy so they'd idolize the massive fucking candy at 25 cents a pop as their only way to get their sugar rush.

Jimmy and Sarah both had different candy favorites so everyone else probably has a preference but it's just that it's cheap and long lasting that gets their obsession

The show always made Jawbreakers look so good. Like it was the candy version of crack. I was so disappointed when I tried one for the first time.

How long they last is a fucking curse. Breaking them into little bits was a decent way to eat them, but it felt like it defeated the purpose of the Jawbreaker. Otherwise you were dedicating basically a day to going through that thing or trying to figure out how to store a spit covered ball of rock hard sugar.
