Native American Heritage Month
Happy Native American Heritage Month. November. Post and discuss all your favorite Native American cartoon characters.

Pic related. I like Molly of Denali. It's a comfy PBS kids show set in Alaska. The show never goes woke and Molly never really complains about "muh land." The show is more about exploring Alaska and the city of Qyah and nature surrounding it.

There are very few I know of, unless you mean all people native to the Americas, which would include Chel

I think I speak for everyone when I say that Chel is peak indigenous representation

It's a cultural thing. You have to be a Purepecha or Quechua and do the rites to be part of the club

But yeah Molly of Denali is/was a really really good show, that people should watch. Shame about what happened to it...

The only "Aborignal" artists I ever heard of were the English Group of Seven. Aside from that one children's storybook artist, are there any decent ones of Aboriginal descent?

It is neat. I like how they combined the myth with issues that they were suffering from at the time of creation (not sure if it's gotten any better). Just makes the idea of these traditional tales feel evergreen rather than outdated.

Meanwhile, they're letting the actual native culture die because 60 year olds on the councils are more concerned with hoarding casino dividends than actually growing their nations.

I find Native Americans amusing they became such entitled bitches that in the end even the Leftists refuse to shill them in mass media productions because Everything Offends Us Native Americans. And don't forget "Don't confuse us for the actions of this tribe and that other tribe!" leading to tediousness further turning off the Leftists.

And now they are doomed to media obscurity. Not even Africans are as complicated as Native Americans. Can't speak for the ones you find in Central and South America though. But it seems Argentina is doing steady work exterminating them.

Also bad birthrates for everyone are a factor INCLUDING Native Americans. The only ones who have positive birthrates right now are Africans who stayed in Africa.

You're doing a better job than most. The only Native American character I remember is the annoying Girl Boss from the currently airing Amazon Zorro series and since the show is created with a Spanish audience its not readily available aka has no English Dub.

You know, it's funny how everyone would be 100% OK with shows starring Native Americans, but networks keep pushing whatever the fuck "minorities" (because you're not a fucking minority if there are multiple billions of you elsewhere and you're slated to become a majority in a couple of decades) except the people who actually deserve some visibility and have their stories told because both their race and lore are dying out, plus they actually have a lot of interesting stories that were never brought to screen.

The very notion that anyone can stop someone from enjoying their culture in some way is 00s SJW retardation. It's as dumb as Europeans forbidding the rest of the world to wear pants. As long as there's no malicious misrepresentation, they don't have a case.

Anon if an indian walked into a job interview in facepaint and native clothes they'd be denied or ridiculed on the spot. But someone whose non-native could easily dress that way for a party or event and wouldn't be fired like the native would.

Yeah, I'm sure it's some invention of a handful of liberals trying to act as spokespersons for the whole group that don't reflect what the majority feels like

>>151180444
That doesn't happen because they don't wear those things casually. Even if it did happen they could probably sue for cultural intolerance in the same case with indians and muslims with turban and hijabs.
