>Even if they do, that's not the issue. The problem is they start preproduction and then realize it's probably not gonna work in live action.
What? Why would it not work? People want to see hot teens in cool outfits.
>You can't have teen actors running around in skintight latex.
Meanwhile, gymnasts are wearing tight costumes showing more skin.
> The pedo factor alone would be a problem
Make them 18, problem solved.
>but more importantly it would be a nightmare fight scene wise because it would be impractical at best, and an liability nightmare at worse trying to not get these kid actors hurt as Latex tears easily and doesn't vent well so they'll overheat if worked too long.
Michelle Pfeiffer went through a lot of costumes, that is a minor expense. And you can switch between latex for stills or normal scemnes and super glossy spandex for the action scenes.
>Miraculous requires the heroes to jump and swing around the city, that requires either a fuck ton of CG which is probably beyond a tv shows episode to episode budget or trained stunt people, which is another problem.
Sure CGI is too expensive these days? Also they expect to make a mint on this show.
>The kid actors are gonna need adult stunt people and it would be very obvious because the costumes don't hide much.
Spandex never hid much anyway.
