I refuse to watch this movie. Status quo resets and repeating the plot of the first film are always retarded decisions.

1. Their money would have been better spent re-releasing the original with the CGI updated.
2. I felt my intelligence was insulted because the movie opened with cast and creators staring into the camera and saying that they'd waited so long to make a sequel because they needed a script that was perfect, and lemme tell 'ya, that was not a "my God, we finally got the perfect script, none of the ones we saw in the last decade were this good!" movie.

A worthwhile Incredibles 2 would've had them fighting an actual supervillain instead of "lol I'm gonna make people not like supers even though they're technically still illegal right now."

Incredibles 2 was kind of fucked over by Pixar's current obsession with twist villains. The whole aesthetic of the movie is campy silver age comics; you need an unrepentantly evil villain to steal the show.
