I actually thought the animation for Dante vs. Clive was good. I know a lot of people had problems with it, but I thought it was great. Even if you disagree about Clive losing, given the power gap between the two it makes sense for Dante to take little damage. It also put Dante in some kind of a mentor or elder role to Clive, and let Dante show how far he had come by defeating someone who had been down the same path as him. He wasn't just fighting Clive, he was TEACHING Clive. And I think that's very heartwarming in a way. That Dante would take the lessons he learned and help someone who was just like him. If this weren't a Death Battle I'm sure they would have ended cordially and taught each other well. The alternate ending is weird, even if heartwarming in its own way. It was nice to see Clive reunite with his brother, but it feels weird to have him just stand there and take that punch. I haven't played Clive's game though (but after watching this fight I think I might watch a playthrough!) so I might be missing stuff but as a big DMC fan I thought they did Dante justice and from what I saw they treated Clive with the utmost respect. What character has ever gotten an alternate ending made just for them?

GOW is relatively grounded and reaches around mountain to country level at max. Kratos himself never does anything impressive onscreen compared to Asura. AW is way too over the top. Asura in the first 10 minutes of his game punched a living continent back to sleep and later blew up a planet-sized being with one punch. EOG Asura was bulldozing through planets, stars and supernovas and accelerating across the universe in a couple of minutes. Imagine them trying to animate ACTUAL Destructor Asura (not mini mountain-sized Asura) fighting Kratos and having Kratos no sell that guy. That would look insanely retarded to a normal person who actually plays GOW.

I think Yugi's main problem is that even if he draws an out to whatever he is currently dealing with, he can't use that same "draw" to have another card that would be useful to whatever Ash reacts with.

Like for example if Yugi ends up drawing Mirror Force in one draw however we interpret how Yugi draws cards, that card cannot be something like an Egyptian God or Monster Reborn he may also need in that moment.
