>>11287419To explain:
C = control, the leg I applied a treatment without saw palmetto in
A = active, the leg I applied a treatment with saw palmetto in it
The measurements were at the top of the thigh (where the thickest point was) middle thigh, and thigh just above the knee
I applied the treatment from above the the top measurement (to the top of the thigh/butt, butt got active treatment on both side) to the middle measurement.
The premade batch is what I was referring to here
>>11282752but after I ran out I went back to my original method of mixing it together each time I applied it
The measurements were taken before applying, but on days 8,9,10 I started taking measurements in the morning after taking off the wrap
As we can see, there is definitely something happening with the saw palmetto, as I also tried it on the opposite leg last time with similar results. The results were likely declining at first due to an under powered dose and maybe because when I refrigerated it the mixture separated and I probably only got a good dose on the first day or two.
I've also been losing weight, which is why they are getting smaller, but notably it seems the treatment may offset that.
It seems likely that part of this is just swelling, as you can see with the sudden jumps before and after treatment on days 8+, notably, on day 8 and 10 I had woken up only 4 hours afterwards and taken the measurement then. So it would seem that the swelling may be most acute in the first couple hours
Also, I was getting a lot of irritation and itchiness midway through. I hadn't been working out then, and after I started working out again it seems to have gone away. So maybe this relates to the swelling, and exercise improves circulation and fixes this
Maybe taking multiple doses a day would make the effects even greater, or maybe the swelling needs to go away for it to potentially have long term effects and a higher dose would be ideal
I'm not sure. I may continue a couple days more
