This is so incredibly niche that there'd be a thread for it, but this place seemed like a decent approximation. I discovered something recently called "level drain" and I don't know why, but it activates my neurons. The concept is that a woman in a setting with game mechanics, who is quite high level and powerful, gets caught in a situation where a monster drains her levels (as one would expect), making it to the point where she eventually becomes helpless. Sometimes to rub salt in the wound the monster doing it is of a weak, low-level variety and is able to turn the tables on the otherwise "way out it its league" heroine. I was curious if anyone else had either encountered it or for those that haven't to bring it up. I don't really know why I found it so hot, but I did.
