When the gates to hell were torn open by rogue witches, humanities initial reaction was what would be expected. Fear, existential dread, theological debate. However, it wasn't the Dark Ages anymore, and it didn't take long for the ever turning gears of commerce to turn their gaze upon the eternal lake of fire. While magic complicated things, modern technology proved decisive, and the subjugation and subsequent annexation of demonkind took less than a year. For some of the eternal, formerly dominant beings, their lives became the same endless toil they had inflicted since time immemorial, but for others, like the Sucubii, they found that there were...softer rolls open to them.
Even with the knowledge of the danger, many men(and even some women) were eager to get a sex pet that literally existed for pleasure and kink. That danger was real however, and it became VERY important to ensure that any demon allowed to work on the mortal plane were trained, broken and wrapped in so many seals, spells and technological failsafes to stop them from committing atrocities.
