initial tests with illustrious 2.0 are proving pretty promising
its composition easily btfo's all other sdxl models to the point where i rarely get a boring pose out of it
but being a base model it requires a lot of tagging in order to not look like complete shit, and even then it still paints in pretty broad strokes and fried colors, so i pretty much HAVE to pass it through hiresfix with a 1.0 sloptune to soften it out while adding all the details, but that's already how my workflow worked so i dont really mind

As the other anon mentioned a lot of the training data is just Danbooru, for characters if there were somewhere between 80-100 tagged images it's enough for the model to know the basics of them.
Artists and styles probably need a smidge more.
local gen is an art of seeing what the model knows already and what you can add to by using LORAs.

I did a very quick and sloppy test between some Loras and the inherent knowledge of a merged illustrious checkpoint. Danbooru for example only really has Karbo's old and more artsy works.

After using a few tens of thousands of Anlas on 4.5 Full, I have to say it's a lot harder to control than 4. You can get some really good gens, but it seems very easy to throw it off and end up with a mangled flesh abomination or some awful artstyle, whereas 4 seemed more consistent.

It does follow prompts a lot better though.

I wonder what makes the legs in the ground perspective so common. Could it be anime gag scenes where they show the character looming with no real background, or is it just a feature of models trying to put people in the foreground using closeups and then forgetting to integrate the background properly?
Also, what are the best ways to mitigate this?
My usual go to methods are full body, legs, feet in positive prompt, out of frame in negative prompt, and narrowing the aspect ratio.
But the closeup perspective is honestly pretty hot too so I'm curious if there are good ways to remove background tinies and keep some tinies in the foreground looking up but having the "camera" positioned so it doesnt look like theyre standing at knee level

I did my fair share of that before switching over to comfy and sdxl.
Flux is great at following highly specific prompts and can consistently output nicely detailed backgrounds. You can have a lot of fun messing around with your descriptions and seeing what comes out. It's also pretty decent for realistic looking stuff.
And that's as far as the positives go.
It sucks at anime, WILL fuck up hands more than sdxl, wont do nsfw, has no knowledge of artstyles whatsoever, and doesn't know what the underside of a foot looks like. In terms of output flavor you can choose between grainy mess or burnt plastic. Cfg determines which one it's gonna be. I usually went for grainy mess as it offers a more varied composition.
There are some decent loras for artstyles that you can play with, but no good size ones as far as I'm aware. I particularly liked the style loras for vintage anime, hyulla, kojima, yokawa, urushihara and frutiger aero. If you want any of them I can look for a link or catbox them.
I would also suggest checking out chroma as it's an uncensored, unslopped version of flux currently being trained by a furry somewhere, and checkpoints are continuously released. I'm not sure if it can do gts though, and it still sucks at anime.
I don't think txt2vid is possible on forge, comfy is probably better for that anyways.

Prompt is 100% because it's important for all the methods. txt2img uses it, img2img uses it, and inpaint uses it (which is why trimming or emphasizing parts of your prompt for inpainting helps). If you mean txt2img then it's still kinda 100% since I always start there.

Otherwise, it kind of varies. img2img would probably be like 25-40% for me since text2text can get you close enough but will usually vary more wildly if you're aiming for a more specific image to work with, which I usually am. Even if I'm not, I'll often do img2img anyway just to see if it does anything neat in a few extra batches.

Inpainting can vary greatly depending on your target, but every image can easily benefit from inpainting since it'll commonly give you fucked eyes or some other easy fix you can turn into high detail really quickly with little effort. So like 5% minimum.

Loras are hard to judge here but probably the least necessary since the checkpoint does most the work. Illustrious models in particular will just recognize many artists and characters you can just put in the prompt. So it can range from 0% to 50%, depending if you want to use concepts, art styles or characters it just doesn't understand. I gen a lot of characters it doesn't know, and I use additional finedetail loras because fuck it, so I use them probably more than most people need to.

But to fit in your presumed 100% capped model,
Prompt: 35%
img2img: 25%
Inpainting: 15%
Lora: 25%.
