They have some weapons now that can do thermal-optical target recognition (Can look at an area and find the tank or even prioritize targets if there are more than one) I imagine if a civilization has to deal with giantesses often than they will be able to program such weapons to target giantesses. The best thing to use against a giantess is light infantry, send enough of them to fill her holes, fill her belly and then double that so she has some to take for later. That's how you get a giantess to spare a city, raw manpower, every other weapon system is just foreplay.

Technically, you could kind of fake it by running a 3D render/animation through some filters. The gist is by limiting the amount of colors a picture has, you make it more "pixel-ly".
