I'm all for using the right tags on boorus and sites like the panda and all, and whatever drama happened on r34 sounds retarded from what you said, but making a bunch of separate threads for sub-fetishes would be retarded. There's already a futa-only general and a shemale-only general in the catalog for people who really don't want to see one or the other.
If you're not aware, this thread started because some people were upset about futa being posted in the normal venus thread many years ago. That was reasonable, because not everyone wants to see a dick on a thicc and otherwise fertile-looking woman. But making yet another split wouldn't, because this thread isn't fast or active enough to justify it, but also mostly because the vast majority of the images would just look the same. So this is why I think using "futa" as an umbrella term is acceptable in this case.
