OP here. Also, I have been considering to make a list of recommended artists and games for those who seek Slime Girl content. So far I have a small list on Twitter who regularly draws Slime Girls. Depending on your feedback I may compile a list for everyone.

I've included Naitou Kirara in the warning list because of one scene in the story. It's not as violently descriptive as DATE, but still counts I think. Speaking of which I should also add Ushinomiya's work to the list as well.

Can you blame people though? Word by word translation was done in the ancient times. Nowadays it's done with sense by sense translation. And no matter how hard you pull MTL, you *still* need to check the translation for errors and do some level of proofreading. Besides, if there's a proverb, slang or anything similar MTL will skip those and give you weird translations.

I don't know if you guys fell off the face of the planet simultaneously or just stopped because it seemed like a decade ago I didn't have to wait months at a time for a volume to be translated. This niche has become my obsession over the years so I get overly excited whenever someone releases a proper translation of something I like.
It was so grim at one point I almost tried learning Japanese but my inferiority complex prevents me. I'll look at the originals to see how the art is but not being able to actually read it is a huge disadvantage.

First: Should I include any AI artists and/or people who make comics via AI? Also, people who switched to AI should be included or not? I remembered some users online do this, hence my question. Of course I wouldn't want AI content suddenly surging here and reduce the originality, but I want to hear about your opinion as well.
Second: Rimuru Tempest had been bugging me for quite a while now. What's your stance on Rimuru?
Third: What's your opinion about Ditto/Metamon transformation content? Do you think they belong here?
Last Question: Do you want to keep discussing from here? Or would you prefer using Discord?

Aside from these, I would like to know your thoughts about the list so far. I'm planning to update again today.

My idea wasn't to include every user online who regularly dump AI art of course. But I get what you mean. I may add Troubletro to the list, though. Are you okay with AI arts of characters with very few artwork? On the top of my head Inque comes to my mind.

Similar concerns were the reason behind my exclusion. IF Rimuru was okay with completely female looks (including boobs and vagina) I'd happily add Rimuru to the list. All this "I'm okay looking feminine but not be a female" was a complete letdown at some point...

It's rough because Inque is /co/ but she doesn't have much art because Batman Beyond was released and stopped well before she became more popular. Some Japanese artists like hakuto did make some nice art of her, which is also very clever.

Hm, now hear me out. The slimes shapeshift into the people they once were, or at least rando humans, just to keep the appearances up as a functioning kingdom. This way they could feed off of visitors, dignitaries, migrants from neighboring human realms. The king is obv the slime queen in disguise. They would also grow rich and prosperous since they wouldn't eat the food the peasant slimes would grow. This would both attract more humans, as well as be good for trade.
