TiTS' problem is that it just wants to do 6 gorillion OC donut steel side stories that are just variations of the same character and the same generic writing again and again. It should focus on developing the main quest and tying up any unfinished threads (such as Sophora and that sex toy AI) instead of adding new ones. Kiro already had plenty of content and her own quest. There's no reason to give her a 5,000 word blowjob scene now instead of until later in development.

DoL is in the dying stage of projects that have been taken over by Discord troons. The old fans have been forced out, the content has had boring autism bolted on, and any new content will either be more shallow reskinned content or more autism. Now we just have to wait for an ambitious rewrite or the gradual removal of "problematic" content until the game is dead. They'll then move on to the next project like the parasites that they are.

No I wasn't. I'm just talking about how the development of the game has slowed to a crawl, and any new content is either reskinned versions of existing content (like the island) or autism (like the temperature). Many WEGs end with an ambitious rewrite that results in the game being abandoned, or keep removing old content.

Something I've thought about doing forever is paying an artist to essentially make something like a paper doll system that can be used in rpg maker as a template for showing the characters and body changes.

You see this in a lot of paid for games. Like hatzumi of pregnation essentially does this to show pregnancy growth. Its just layering clothes, breast size images, expressions, baby bump size onto of a static body image.

I'd include code and some notes on implementing the images.

The thing is, should I charge anyyhing for it? I feel like if anyone put out a standard template, things would really take off. Kind of like how thar super deep throat game got 1000s of free assets.

I dont know. Just a thought. I feel like a lack of "this" holds a lot of people back.

The thing is, you could spend a lot of money making it. You'd be paying for a lot of art. Lots and lots of variations to layer on top of each other is how you make something like this come alive.

I'm not sure how much customizing I want to do. Because I dont think rpgmaker can handle vector art. So it will be a pain in the ass to do height min/maxing. Rpgmaker being limited on what kind of files and what size images ir can use is a limit.

Id rather focus on arch types for body types in anime and then have a few in-between body types for transformation. And if anyone wanted they could make their own monster parts and layer that on top.

So like Heman jacked > jacked > fit > slim > boyish > androgynous > girlish > slim f > fit f > muscular f or curvy > sex bomb

Maybe have boyish / androgynous / girlish have a second path downward for CLOTHED children so someone could have some basic passage of time or flash backs in their game.

For women you'll probably need breast, hip/ ass , pregnant belly sizes for various game or plot reasons. Maybe the same for fitness on men.

Even if you go cheap at $65 an image, it could get pretty expensive pretty quickly. Just redrawing just 1 shirt for each body type.

There is reason that most stuff like this in rpgmaker is made by an artist and not a programmer. The artist is providing the art to themselves for free.

Off the top of my head:

The game can be in keeping her in the right zone: more food makes her bigger, but at the end she still needs to compete, so some of that has to be turned into muscle with exercise. If you gain or lose too much, she can't compete in the weight category she wants. But maybe making her fail the competition isn't a game over, if you manage to convince her the weight looks good on her.

Your gf is having your baby. Make sure she's eating for two. The game would be in pampering her to relieve stress. Or maybe hitting her random cravings like in the cooking/serving games. But having a failure state/game over will probably be too grim for most people. (Miscarriages happen more often than you think.)

The princess is to be married off, and the dowry is "her weight in gold." So, max that. The game might be in keeping her appealing to suitor(s), or at least mobile enough to walk down the isle. Alternatively, if we're talking islamic sultans, the game is in "how high will my daughter rank among the harem/wives" and the high score would be the suitor making her the first wife right away.

If magic is powered by lifeforce, and bigger people can spend more of themselves without stopping/dying, the obvious choice is to overfeed magic users before rolling them into battle like towed artillery. The game might be in the management of a realm's defenses via fat magic girls, but also keeping in mind how much the realm can produce in order to keep them fat through potential combat engagements. Maybe you can conquer some land to feed your army, but maybe if someone sees that your mages are spent after a fight they'll attack you? Can you maintain fat parity with another kingdom, or will you develop a "fat gap" in your hot/cold (depending on what you serve) war?

Weight can be worked into games but for jt to reach the levels that would appease a kinkster, everything kind of falls apart.

Like you could have a player eat to sustain hp, but if you eat too much junk food you get fat and that slows your character down. Obviously have junk food be the cheapest healing items and the easiest to find for free.

The thing is, the fat is a negative to gameplay. It creates conditions thst annoy the player. Woukd someone really into weight gain or fat really want to play that?

The pregnancy one, its not healthy to carry a baby while being really fat. Or kink level fat. Same with body building. You dont want to bulk so hard you get a giant gut.

You could probably do the princess one. That would probably be the best of these ideas. Less suspension of disbelief. Someone of power can be fat. And being fat has been a sign of wealth. You could probably do a tribal one where you fatten up human sacrifices. I seem to remember that being the go to from 1920 to 1999 in cartoons when you wanted to sneak a feeder kink into an episode. They stopped because people claimed it was racist to attribute cannibalism to tribal people. I guess you could have a twist ending where some amazonian god is surrounded by his or her harem of human fatties, pleased as he can be.

I guess what im getting at is that in most games being fat will hold the player back. Most kinks hand wave the bad part. It would be hard to do that with being fat without hand waving all of it.

Like in preg games they hand wave what you do with the babies. It wouldn't be good to have 55 babies, so they just hand wave. Same with breast expansion.

So do many fetishes and I would argue pregnancy is more debilitating than being fat but not hyperfat. It can be a balancing act.

You could also fatten npcs not the player. Maybe a management game where you run a """cow""" farm or a game where you run a restaurant and progressively the clientele get fatter.

Many games set in "real life" like DoL wouldn't really be affected much if you were fat. It's perfectly possible to play and avoid combat and athletics so having penalties to this but buffs to pain resistance would work well. Stuckage could easily be woven in too.

Is there a (relatively low effort) way to make the aftermath of being captured fun? I'll admit to not having played many /d/ games beyond kinky dungeon (because it appeals to my fetishes), but in that game once you get captured you either wander the level getting progressively more tied up or get shoved into a cage and left there. Which is hot conceptually but I guess I'm looking for something a bit more engaging.
An idea I've had for a while is a sort of "mystery dungeon" style roguelike with the hunger mechanic replaced by a sanity/arousal mechanic. I think since hunger in roguelikes naturally forces you to move on with relative haste it would mesh well with bondage making you slower and/or immobile. certain bindings like blindfolds or gags could also stop you from using items to regain sanity. Ideally being bound would be less a total game over and more of a setback that leads to a game over, which would lead to a more prolonged sense of desperation which I think would be hot.
I would also suggest some kind of enslavement/dronification outcome where you carry on but at the commands of whoever captured you (kd kind of has thi but not really), but that sounds like something that would take a LOT of time and effort to implement.

Check out Dungeon Depths, there's two enemies who collar and enslave you if you're defeated and it leads to a short quest where you do their bidding to their bidding to help summon a succubus (who then ends up breaking you free and you can continue the game as normal). I thought it was a neat way of doing a short pseudo-bad end/secret quest.

There are these russian games on Steam about going to hell and running through mazes with the occasional sex scene here and there and they're all mid but also they go through so much shit in the prologue to justify getting to hell.

The heatstroke and hypothermia stuff was probably just to nerf things like the Underground Farm, because the developers think that players don't know that being naked outside during winter in a country like the UK is a bad idea.

Are you looking for character ideas? I don't know about your game.

While the idea of forcibly fattening up a tomboy into a plump milky cow is hot, I also like the idea of simply corrupting a girl to the point that she does it to herself or even willingly. Perhaps once sufficiently docile and bovine, just making food freely available could be enough for some cows to graze themselves into obesity: idly munching between being milked and impregnated.

Similarly, some girls might already be plump and primed to get fat whereas others require more training or forcing. Taking a fit and haughty bitch and force feeding her as her tits swell up with milk and her mind is clouded by lust until she is a total inversion of her former self is hot.
Denial is another typical weight gain aspect. Maybe a spoiled brat could be easily indulged but far too proud to accept what is happening to her until it's way too late. On that topic, I don't know about your game really but if it is about "breaking" each girl in a slightly different way it would be neat if making one fat was one such avenue.

Girls should fatten up differently too. I presume a hucow game features a lot of big boobs but a variety of bottom heavy fat asses and big bellies alongside some more top heavy girls keeps things spicy.

I think ideally, if this is a game, there should different methods to make your live stock npcs fiatter and how it makes them fatter. The game is in the details and the strategy a player would choose.

Like certain items and methods make the npc only gain weight in their chest or ass so you end up with someone very curvaceous.

Another does that and causes a lot of belly and face fat. With that method you end up with someone actually fat.

Then have achievements or events or secret items that go beyond these methods that would allow you to hit extremes.

Maybe only pig/orc girls can truly obese? Maybe only horse girls can become true muscle mommies? And cow women can have truly large breasts or massive pregnant bellies? Stuff like that?

If we're talking a game, I think the fun would be exploring the system and figuring out how to maximize each result. Where to find the food or items, when to use them, which animals respond best.

Thats not really true but people fighting the good fight want it to be.

Stolen art is better than AI, but no images at all regulates it to just another text game that people will play for a few minutes and then delete.

Though admittedly that is also true for a lot of text games with images. A lot of these guys should just be writing smut and stop making games entitely. They dont know to to balance writing with gameplay and often write too much text.

I suppose ideally you would rob the assets of some japanese rpgmaker about weight gain. The problem will be finding something about getting fat. I'm kind of drawing a blank on anything with fat progression that has assets to rob, and looks good. I'm sure there are some hideous unity games you could get assets from, but then you would be using images of hideous unity game assets.

You could maybe commission 10 images of someone getting fatter, but even at $65 an image to someone in a lower cost of living country, you're looking at $650 just for one character in your game.

Its all AI slop BUT it has two good ideas for weight gain in a game.

One is a slime queen and another is a hive queen. I could see an RTS or tower defense where finding ways to make your queen fatter would allow you to produce bigger and stronger units. Or maybe gain favor with your queen.

Before? It's been years. You're talking as if AI only came out yesterday and nobody's had a chance to make a game with it. There are successful AI games but even they still struggle to complete against developers using mspaint-tier amateur artwork.

Plus, there have always been alternatives. You could make your game with absolutely anything. Kisekae, koikatsu, models off of an asset store, or just find your own way of doing art. The point of art is that there are so many ways to do it that even someone who's crippled can still find their own way of doing art. There is no "void for developers with zero budget", only learned helplessness and an inferiority complex.
That said, don't try making a hentai game with claymation. I don't think people will play that one.

Sure, if someone is putting a game on steam for $50, they better have paid the artists and not have used AI to rip them off. But some free game? Come on.

Really, no one here really has a right to complain as just about everyone on /d/ is a theif. We read scanned hentai and douj we didnt pay for. We watch uploaded hentaie videos we didnt pay for. We play ripped and hacked h and e games we didnt pay for. We are a din of hirny thieves. Only a quarter to a third of rhe content here is free from a Twitter or pixel account. And thats a high number. 20 years ago it all would have been stolen.

Its hilarious watching someone attack AI slop in an attempt to protect artist when they refuse to pay for any of the games they play.

Frankly it is hypocritical to ask the programmer to support artists when most of us actively try to never pay creators. Artists or programmers.

Anyway, if its some free game, I dont care. Its the people acting like AI is a new gold rush and forcing out slop and then slapping a price sticker on it that annoy me.

That's how I feel about getting caught in the game, like there's not really any consequence beyond like "ok now im too tied up to ever get out" but there aren't really any lasting changes to your character. Like there should be jobs like being a maid that give you statuses or corruptions or something.

Feel silly complaining too much though its a really great game. I just need something more : /

oh yeah I'll played this one. it has some interesting ideas, like the size change affecting how armor fits. i kept dying a lot and fighting the same 3 enemies over and over and kind of found it hard to care enough to get past. Mechanically it is not very well balanced. I wanted to like it though. We need more e-dungeon crawlers : (

Tried to get in to free cities and its really bad, too much info, too many options, shit ui and not intuitive enough. In the first few minutes the player already gets a gorillion stats dumped on him from slaves to menial shit from the arcology. Money is too easy to earn too.

Free Cities tries to be very deep, but it's quite simple. The main stats to worry about are money, reputation, and slave characteristics. Tailor your slaves to your preferences, buy new slaves to fill up your job positions (and tailor them, too), and spend money and reputation on buying, upgrading, and personalising your arcology.

I had issues understanding how to mold certains slaves, like increasing devotion and whatnot. I got two big titted slaves, gave them lactation implants, same gear both in the dairy, but for some reason, only one developed increasing amounts of milk. The other is stuck in 1 liter worth 6 for weeks and I can't figure why. Same with other stats.

Important stuff comes with colored text, but then there are walls of it, giant colored salads with so much shit that is still a pain to find or keep track of anything.

I remember Ada teasing a maid cafe feature that was supposed to do that but it's either been postponed, forgotten about, or abandoned. I don't really blame them d e s u, it seems like a lot of work for something that would at best appeal to only half of the playerbase and probably less than that just going on what a majority of the community talks about. Maybe the player could have the option to put their captives into the maid cafe to appeal to both sides, I don't know.

i can't speak any ill of them, they're a top three h game dev easily. The game doesn't quite hit what i was getting horny for but it's an incredible work for sure.

My minor nit-picks for it would be that I wish the event log was easier to parse, it would be cool if there was a vertical delimiter. It just seems like a messy sprawl divorced from time so it's a lot less interesting to read WOLF GIRL APPLIED TRAINING COLLAR when its part of 45 lines of other text where the timing and order isn't very clear. It's pretty awesome though overall.

This is so fucking funny. Each NPC has a bunch of stats, and the summaries give you one sentence per stat. The stats can go up, or they can go down.

See pic. Pregmod is essentially 7+ years of modding. There are more options than "vanilla" FC as a result. A lot of things are more streamlined and convenient; a few are purposely worse (diminishing returns in reputation gains for the sake of balance). There are several new character visualization options, all unfinished and lacking in some way, but hey maybe AI image generation will finally pan out. There's a bit of extra story here and there too, with a post-plot threat that doesn't last nearly as long as the rival, and some recurring opportunities (that can kill you if you have a bad BG). You can make catgirls, but not everyone takes kindly to tinkering with the genome. You can even make your favorite slave(s) immortal, should you actually manage to afford the research. Arcology owner can undergo change via drugs and surgery, though not all slave options are available.

Probably my favorite playable bad end was the demihuman cave in Sinisistar 2, it wasn't very systematic but the way it branched from being captured was cool, and of course the game in general is super high quality. You're forced to either take a difficult fight with most of your abilities locked away, or continue passing time and going through rape scenes. If the protag gets pregnant it unlocks an actually final bad end, but I love that she can be trapped forever.

I just kinda wanna gush about it, I've never felt as immersed in a captured sex slave fantasy as that.

Free cities is great but it has a bit of a learning curve. If you play on easy then it is trivially easy so it doesn't really matter that you have no idea what you are doing.
The game is more fun when you add your own images imo (i never ai generated but i can see that being awesome if it works)

The game is pretty self explanatory to me most stuff makes sense intuitively and there is an encyclopedia built in for anything else like some flaws/quirks and fetishes.

Strive for Power is much harder and less transparent than Free Cities. It took me quite a while it finally crack that game. Even the tutorial wasn't simple and it's easy to fuck up a broken girl if you accidentally spoil her. Free Cities is far far more forgiving. Money in sfp sucks too.

The point of having those details is to be able to tailor your slaves to your preferences. If you like your slaves to have a certain weight, musculature, breast size, hair length, penis size (for male or futa slaves), etc., then you can have it that way. Also if you want your slaves to love you or hate you, and trust you or fear you, then you can also have it that way.
