However I don't know how to progress now; I get as far as avoiding getting stepped on by Aoi, but then I can't figure out how to trigger anything else. The character just keeps saying the same things about everything. The only exception is interacting with Aoi, where I get the option to crawl into her shoe the second time around, but then I can't interact with anything in there, nor can I get back out again.

Similarly, loading the first save where you get to play the other character in the room with the shrunken landmasses, I can't seem to start any scenes there either - they just keep saying "it's a tiny continent on the desk" but nothing else happens. Am I missing something?

It's okay. The premise is a really good idea, but besides constantly referring to himself as a "gigantic cosplaying young male adult" Ochiko doesn't really do anything with the idea.

There's no slip of the costume, no comparing himself to other cosplayers, no talk about what he dressed up in the past. The only interesting beats are him referencing how he only just got the costume, and maybe him using the fake tail to wipe out a city, but he might as well have been a real otter boy in all but name.

The rest is just the standard Ochiko destruction affair. Which is fun, but unlike Hase-chan or the Glasses-wearing Kaiju Girl, this isn't something I'd keep coming back to.
