It was quite a journey, but I haven't been a full time artist till just now.
I learned drawing by copying existing fan art I loved.
The more I drew, the more I learned.
I did my first size art like way back in 2010 with a giant Konata from Lucky Star. That pic has so many flaws that it sucks, but I still find joy when I see it cause I was a beginner. I admired Alloy's art and that inspired me.
I also admired other size artists like Kemo, Karbo, Hakuto, Manzi, for naming a few, so I tried to study the forms they used.
Since I love boobs, I tried my best to make them as appealing as possible, but I also have in mind that they are sacks of fat, so gravity also plays a good part on how they must be drawn.
As an artist, whenever I see art that I enjoy from other artists, I try to study and figure out how they draw some part of the body, the eyes, the boobs, the hair, etc. One never ends learning.
Everyday I get into danbooru and look at fan art of girls I love and end up studying how they are drawn, the different types of shading, linework, colouring, etc.
My fav size ratio are skycraper size, about 80-100 m tall.
For air warfare, 500-1000 m is my cup of tea.
For achieving a proper size difference I use Google SketchUp with some models I saved before it got nuked, where I compare the model size to a giant girl of a desired size.
For citywork, it is mainly just throwing a bunch of different buildings, or if I need more references, I look at other size artist cities, and as a last resource, I make use of Google street view.
TL;DR version: I make use of different references, study how they are drawn, and apply that to my art.
