the only hard part is having a decent GPU, nvidia RTX cards preferred but later AMD cards can do it too with ZLUDA; you're going to have to do a little research yourself if you have the latter, then it's just mashing tags together (or natural language, depends on model) and degeneracy comes out the other end
as for cleaning up hands and such, that's something automatic detailers can help with, or can even be cleaned up in the hires fix step if they are a bit off
the process is usually: gen image > hires fix > automatic detailers > inpaint if everything else fails

Local genning has some hardware requirements (you'll want a decent modern graphics card) which stops plenty of people.
Some of the GUI's are pretty straightforward, especially if you're capable of reading instructions. It doesn't take much adjustment to make anime styles instead of furry with the models they recommend.

Yeah no, the closest comparison could maybe be the semi open world of Demons souls but that would be a stretch. Still, the lack of guidance is very refreshing and the sense of accomplishment while exploring is great. The combat is the weakest part imo, but the atmosphere is pretty much perfect and shit's quite depressing at certain points, too lol. If you don't mind running around in circles a few times you should really give it a try.

thank you. i think i have a lot to learn when it comes to color choice, because i know nothing of color theory. but i did what i could while completely uneducated about it. it's the first color-coded caption i've made, so it took lots of trial-and-error to remotely do that well, but i definitely feel i've been way more creative on other captions, including the typesetting (or being meticulous with it), even if they're usually shoehorning in pee/smegma, so your suspension of disbelief meter goes off the charts, in reverse

ah, yeah; gimp's color selection window has a tab for seeing a color wheel, and i didn't know how to just flip it to symmetrically get the opposite color exactly, but coincidentally blue was on the opposite side of the wheel from the gold i chose, so i eyeballed it, but i found it was way too dark, and even when saturated it didn't look good. but i think unless contextually afforded reason to use otherwise, i must use blue for male speech, because blue is a conventional color for boys. pink is the conventional contrast to that, even if on a color wheel they must not be (though i don't know how far removed from a perfect contrast it is). in the end, i don't know what i'll do. but i'll try to bother dipping my toes into learning colot theory to know my options for doing what i'm trying to

Honestly, the double dick was probably the easiest thing. I've got a pretty good process now where I'll run a couple batches of 6-8 images with the "extra penises" tag and hope I get lucky. If not, I'll find one that's a little off to the side, toss it into Krita, select the dick, then copy, mirror and adjust it to get into a decent position and then just throw the image back into the inpaint module and let the AI clean up. My biggest hurdles on that one were actually the vagina, face, and piecrings (earrings and nips both have lil crucifixes). It took forever to get a proper looking vagina with both dicks there, it just would not inpaint it. At one point I thought about shopping a vagina on there like I did the extra dick lol. Maybe it was just this particular image cause I've gotten pretty good about adjusting the inpainting settings to get what I want, even moreso now genning with Forge.
