Can you pop the other part of the clip off so you can work on the backside? Take the hinge pin out. Don't let the spring fly off and get lost.

Then I would probably cut a piece of sheet metal and reinforce the back side by drilling and pop riveting to it. Or melt some stainless window screen into it with a plastic welding iron or shitty old flat screwdriver heated up with a torch. Something along those lines.

Mine did that, I used a skinny piece of black elastic with a tiny black safety pin, I like it much better.

sand down the plastic install Nite Ize HipClip or something like it.
I did this to my rockbox'd clip+ over a decade ago and it lasted till it died.

I've glued the back of an iPod Shuffle onto it. The only thing the Shuffle actually worked for.

Nigga this is 2025 where you can order some one to bring you drinks from the gas station if you want. There are websites where you can order prints from, people on craigslist will do it, my local library has a printer you can use.

The first step to achieving something is putting in the bare minimum to google if it can be done, you failed even before that.

Ordering a print would be more expensive than the MP3 player. I don't think most people rocking a Sandisk MP3 player are swimming in money.

Glue a bulldog clip or something on the back and call it a day.

I feel like I'm back in the early 2010's.

My Sansa Clip+'s clip broke off and the volume rocker caved in. I repaired the clip using velcro. The amount of wiggle and give with it was together for keeping it secured to my waist. For the volume controls, I installed Rockbox onto it and was able to bind volume controls to the face-buttons. My Clip+ still works, but smartphones have made them obsolete.

yeah

pros: can attach to collar or pockets
cons: cant really attach to sleeve

also removing the sticking out plastic wasnt pretty. It still does its job though: it plays music.

NTA, but that's fuckin' shite. It works for a little bit and then you have to play "charge my batteries". When you want to take them out of your ears you need a place to put them. You have to wait for that bluetooth connection and God forbid it gets fucked up somehow. There's a bajillion more things that can go wrong to fuck it up. Those ear bud batteries aren't going to hold their charge very well over time. Corded ear buds in a dedicated music player are superior in every way. One battery to charge. You need to take them out? No problem, just pull and drop so they'll hang from the collar of your shirt because you ran the wires underneath your shirt. Nothing beats plug & play. It's a bajillion times more simple and will always outlast a wireless configuration. I tried so many of those wireless earbuds and they're just a time & money pit. Even the nice ones. I actually have a sansa. I need to fix the volume button. Literally perfect for listening to music while being active.

Oh yeah. And how could I forget to mention that current day smartphones are fucking bricks. They are gigantic and heavy as fuck. Truly, abominations. Going for a run with one of those on you is fucking retarded anytime but full on winter. You need to buy actual gear to strap it to your body so it doesn't flop around uncontrollably or you're sacrificing your form and your pace for the device. The Sansa is tiny and practically weightless. It clips to a shirt or your waistline and you forget about it.
