I am looking to add ‘ignition’ on/off switch, relay, fuse block, switched LED lights to a child’s 12v ride on. I compiled the components in image. Can you pleae draw me proper wiring. My plan was:
Off battery positive wire, fuse, switch, relay, fuse box feeding voltmeter, switched LED lights. Will the voltmeter read correctly in this way? Should fuse box have own relay?
Thanks

My concern without relay the on off ignition switch will burn up. I am not sure if need relay on the fuse box somehow? Or how to wire it most efficiently

As longas its across the battery. I.e. on its own fuse in parallel with battery.
Should fuse box have own relay?
Depends, does your fuse block feed the motors now? What's the switch rating in amps at 12vdc(?)

Fuse box will not feed the motors, switch rating only 10A
Thank you

If the ignition is only feeding led lights and displays then 10A d.c. at 12v rated switch should not need any relay in circuit.
Use a substantially lower fuse to protect the switch, 5A should be plenty for lights etc. Ideally you add up the currents and work out the maxand then size the wires and then pick a fuse.

Makes sense for keeing it simple but you could add a circuit to your fuse block to turn a relay on which enables the motors if you wanted the authenticity.

I mispoke, the key i want on 12v positive wire off battery, with key off no power into vehicle. This is why i think need relay. The accessories fuse block i want to place after ignition key. But how to wire also, is another relay needed for accessories block?

there are a couple of ways to do it.
the most versatile i would say is come off the battery, go through a fuse, through the key switch, through two relays (the coils) in parallel, and then back to negative. fuse depends on load of the relay coils.
then one of the relays, look at the top motor diagram, cur the 'r' wire on the left and insert the contacts of one relay.
the other relay look at the bottom picture, cut the red 'from dc positive' wire and insert the second relay contacts in there.
now put all your accessories on the accessory block.
if you post a datasheet or part number for the relay if you want more help wiring it up.
you don't even need two relays really since i expect the 'r' in the top diagram goes to the battery anyway?

Yes sorry the top left r connects to battery the wire with r is positive. I did not have a specific idea just a 4 terminal relay. Thank you for helping i will try rectify your suggestions into one drawing to see if i comprehend

Like a 30 85 86 87 relay?
