You're hiring people that barely or didn't graduate high school and expecting them to maintain full material data of all the products they install. Then you compound their low pay with management pressure to work faster. Why not be a scab know-it-all customer? You did just watch a youtube video, after all.

No, don't get up and move your priceless junk out of the room where construction is occurring. Yes, be sure to add massive change orders part way into the project and expect there to be no change in the install duration or cost.

I get in arguments with my boss because i want to make sure we're doing what the customer actually wants or needs and not just doing what my boss told them to do.
