How do I get these stupid shifter knobs off? The red one has a little phillips screw but the other two look like they're welded on or something. Without removing these I can't remove the plastic piece behind them and subsequently the broken throttle cable.

Maybe. Or a circlip or some shit back there? Be careful if anything is under tension, I have removed many a pin like that with good intentions that became a pain in the ass to get back together once the springs were sprung.

Same anon here. If I get a chance to look at mine I will, but try taking a knife and see if you can carefully slip it inbetween the parting line on those side levers and pop off a top cap to access a nut inside the knob. Not 100% sure this is correct but from looking at the picture it would be my best guess.

That's what it is. The choke cable is stuck (possible WD-40 job) but I broke the throttle cable while I was fucking with it and there is ZERO documentation anywhere on replacing that so I'm having to disassemble it and figure it out.

All three of the handles have screws which mount them to the levers. I've got the same machine, taken them off many times.

So yeah I went and checked on my King Quad this afternoon and just now getting home for the night. Mine definitely had screws on the front of the knobs as well. How the hell did you miss that one OP! Lol.

The King Quad 300s lever design looks like it was designed by a fan of the pre-DYRL VF-1.
