Do you happen to have a bunch of old rusty coins lying around or even some rare coins that are badly rusted and therefor don't show off the full detail? so do i and i have found a way to remove the rust in under 2 hours using home items!

You will need: Bleach and Vinegar.
That's it!

In a small glass bowl mix:
1 cup of bleach

½ cup of vinegar

together. It should turn a pee yellow. You may need to stir it but i didn't have too. After that just drop your dirty old rusty coins in the solution and let it sit there for an hour and they will look brand new! You can even watch as the rust breaks off and floats away slowly revealing the shiny coin beneath. I know i had fun watching it de-rust.

Steel or iron coins?
I doubt it.

i don't really know the difference but just your modern day coins. usual coins made in 1950 to 2025 will work. Although i doubt any coin made in 2015-2025 to be rusted.

Well this seems to be working for me. Very small rust particles are coming off but they are coming off non the less.

Don't do this, it makes mustard gas.

You can just put a dab of ketchup or hot sauce on a copper coin and let it set for a few minutes
