What is the best way to cover above ground pool? We have similar cover like on pic but when it rains the water stays in the cover like bathtub. Not only it weights like 100kg, it also wash all the bird shit and other gunk from cover into pool water.
Put some plastic supports underneath it so it can't pool water and you can wash it off, ya dummy. Like a tepee.
i think you got it. maybe a vacuum to pull the water off the cover instead of trying to dump it. hot tubs use foam composites to get strengthen for their covers, but that span is much less than a pool
pic related what i used to drain the nasty water in the hot tub at the end of winter.
>>2926920putting in a few pool noodles before you cover it can compartmentalize the water into section for easier vacuuming
>>2926922and jam your filter intake bad idea.
>>2926906Yeah, this sounds the most reasonable.
Just get some pvc pipe and fittings from home depot and make something for the middle to prop it up.
Blow up an innertube, put a yoga ball on it, float it in the middle. Depending how tight you get the cover, it will at least move the water to the edge, where you can scoop it out with a bucket.

Yeah, iโm pretty old and I havenโt seen an car innertube in decades.
>>2926929All the pools in my area use white PVC pipe to make stuff for the pool.

This but it costs 200 Shekels
I buy the cheapest cover available, then throw it away in the spring.
Pool stores sell these cheap submersible pumps to drain the dirty water off with a garden hose. Buy a 5 lb (2.5kg) barbell plate with an Olympic sized hole to thread the hose through. The weight will create a low spot on the cover and ensure all the water drains off. I only have to turn on my pump for a few minutes to kick off the siphon effect, then I unplug it.
