How Do I keep these faggots out of my garden shed?

Mice have been living in my insulation in the walls and roof. I believed they couldn't get in at the bottom. Can they climb wooden walls?

I have a wooden floor and have insulation in it too.

I guess I need wire mesh. But I can't get under my shed. So do I need to lay it down under the floor then put insulation back on top then floor boards?

Should I dig a trench or will these faggots burrow underneath it.

Do I need to protect the roof joins also?

Get a bird, a crow or an owle, and fucking, idk, live with it
They started nesting at your place and they wont leave for a few generations
Maybe if you drew what the layout of your shed is, someone else might advise you for techical barriers against rodents, but i speak from experience, once those faggots tag a place as their nesting ground, its a long haul to get rid of them
They have to be in constant danger to fuck off
Cats are utter faggots so dont get a cat
Even a smaller hunting dog, any mutt that has hunting dog in them would do better
Birds are best, but its very expensive to rent those or to buy one and live with it and train it
I had a serious doormice infestation in my shed, they were everywhere
I had a dog and a trained crow kill them for 2 entire years before they decided its maybe time to fuck off from there

Catch one alive and give it aids then release it back to its nest.
You can also annoy them with a speaker, find which sounds could make them retarded or schizophrenic and play it until they die or leave.
Befriend them, feed them and make them dependent on you, then poison them.
Find out what their body temperature is and heat the shed up far above that temperature and have them die of heatstroke

Get a cat, give it a collar and let it roam.
Ever since we let our cats roam our yard has been a rodent massacre. We get mouse puzzles on our door step twice a day, and the other 10 rodents they torture and clap each day, they devour entirely. Our driveway has blood stains everywhere and our trash can reeks of death from the truckload of mouse cadavers we have to dispose of.

Just be aware that they have a quite large territory. If you have faggot neighbors they might start to complain about paw prints on their cars or some meaningless shit.

Cats are bigger faggots.

Did down and put wire mesh in and turn it slightly at bottom.
Wire mesh all roof entries where the roof joins the walls.
Watch out for door gaps also

I had to chase a mouse out of my room after it got in through the window that didn't have netting on it, took like 2 weeks, after I finally had it and ripped everything off the floor onto the bed and made like a barrier from where it was to the door to then chase and guide it out. Of course it still went under the barrier to under my bed somehow. Then got it out. Took another 90 minutes to get it put of the house and to the outside

You need a cat or two. Mice can and will climb damn near anything, short of a glass surface and they can squeeze into any crack bigger than 1/2". Haven't had a cat in about 5 years and I really paid the price, this winter. REAL TIP: rub down the walls with fucking Pine Sol cleaner. Mice hate it. I heard about this from a canadian youtuber and man was I desperate, so I tried it out. It really fucking works.

Its an old and traditional technique for vuilding vermin proof grain storage. In most areas people would just gather relatively flat stones. They would then trace the surface of the stone on the timber anc cut it to match similar to like you'd do when building loghouses. In some cases the stone would even be in the middle of the stilt which looks quite bizarre but works. You just need a ladder, portable stairset or step.

I had an entire murder of crows off the back of my dads business years ago that killed every single animal they could fit down their throats, since I had saved a few and raised them up. Paracelsus the big one would kill snakes and rats to trade them to my dad for pastries, tacos and food he grilled. they loved him, fucker thought he was dr doolittle getting drunk and playing his guitar and preaching the bible at them. it amused them all.

they would show up with the damndest things to trade for snacks. like actual money. benefits of living by the beach I guess.

Don't use poison, it kills natural predators of mice. Get a bucket trap and bait it with peanut butter and sunflower seeds. I've had good luck with Rinnetrap brand in my shed.

Not an answer but here's my current mouse escapade:

A mouse infiltrated my living room and won't leave, but after two days of trying to get him to go back the way he came I chased him under the fridge and them taped him in with paper tape. I read that mice hate capsicin so I threw him a handful of dried chillis, and I pointed two desk lamps at the corridors besides the fridge at night so he doesn't feel comfy to roam.
For some reason this has worked for about 36 hours already; I even went to sleep and he's still behind the paper tape.
It's pathetic but this mouse was a real menace for those first two days. Tomorrow I'm getting 4 live capture traps in the mail and when I've set them up I'll open the enclosure, maybe leave out a little dish with water too so the mouse isn't too parched to imagine taking the peanutbutter bait.

They were probably feeding the cat so it had no reason to hunt. I used to have a pretty major rat problem at my shop/barn. I'd see them all the time and there were rat turds everywhere. About 7 years ago I got 2 cats and stuck them in there with little cat flap in the door so they can go in & out. Since then I haven't seen a single rat or mouse, or even evidence of one.
