Is nothing trustworthy anymore? I've never had dimensional number be LONGER than advertised, all were exactly 1 inch, so it wasn't exactly just a cunt hair over.

That's normal.
In woodworking, NEVER trust that a factory board is the length it says on the label, and NEVER trust that a factory edge is straight or square.
