Three step process. Dental floss has been used to debadge. Goo gone to remove adhesive that didnt come off. Then soap and water rinse.

I'd try wd40 or something similar first like the anon above said. Then escalate to goo gone. Plastic scrapers to not mar the paint. And heat gun too. If all that fails they make those rubber eraser deals that go in a drill to help peel stuff off.

Silicone remover. It's basically the thinner part of gasoline (C7-9 fraction), and will dissolve most glues, while not damaging gasoline-proof paints.

Plain ol gasoline also works wonders as a solvent for most oils greases, and sticky residues.
