I have gutted some old pcs and have something of a situation like picrel, one of each types lets say

I was thinking whats the least hassle to get use out of them, Im aware there are some hublike things that can receive all,but the oldest and biggest also needs to draw power via some old 4pin type connector and Im not sure those have that

also got some ddr3 and mini ddr4 rams, I saw some new type of case for those that allow it to be used as difderent type of memory or am I tripping? anyways thanks

also I left one untouched (typical oldschool offwhite tower pc I had to keep that) so that might be a functioning pc that will run some linux type of thing why not

Sounds like it, but don't let that stop you. To be honest at least some of it sounds like garbage unless you're trying to build a retro PC that will be good for nothing more than running games/programs from years ago. The off-white tower PC is probably decades old and fits into that category, and you might be able to use the largest of the hard drives with the 4-pin power (Molex) connector with it. That drive is probably useless for anything else since they stopped having that power port years ago and if you needed cheap storage a flash drive will run circles around it.

DDR3 and DDR4 are not interchangeable, though sometimes the laptop form factor (SO-DIMM) ones can be used with an adapter to fit a desktop board. Depending on capacity/speed, it might be cheaper just to get the correct memory for a desktop board.

The other drives might be usable to run a newer system but it really depends on the interface on both the drive and whatever computer you're putting it in. Contrary to the /g/ meme, booting from a mechanical hard drive is going to be way inferior to any sort of SSD.

If you mean IDE just throw it away or gut it for the stepper motor. It will be extremely slow and most ide disks where commonly what, 32GB max?

Anyway there are docking stations that take anything from IDE 3.5” to m2 for like $50
