Anyone knows a good lora that can give images an "vhs" effect without affecting the style of the generation?

With photoshop doesn't quite get it and if I try to use one of those online service it works, but problem is that it put the exact same effect with the exact same waves in every image which doesn't feel authentic

I inpainted a bunch but it still refused to gen a 6th finger so I had to inpaint sketch it and I got a really weird mechanical finger so I regenned the full image about 4 times to get it to match the hand with the rest of the image which worked but genned extra bullshit and since I was so focused on just her hand I didn't notice what else got through.

Hopefully this is better.

I don't want to offend anyone, but if you guys aren't capable of making basic stuff you shouldn't be using comfy at all.

Comfy is like a precission tool. You should start by getting the basics of generation with Forge, then if not that's enough for your standard move to comfy since it allow for more precise process and using the most advanced tech avaliable

If you can't do simple stuff because the tool is too complicated to use may be try a most basic tool (forge) and when you dominate it move to the better one (comfy)

Trying to start with the precise tool because you were told is better may lead to frustration.
(Which is true that is better but is better if you know what you are doing, not if you are starting)

And of the record I use REforge because for the stuff I do is more than enough, but I've seen people using comfy and they have more control over the generations and can access to the new stuff sooner, for example as mentioned video and would be pointless deny it.

nta, I can point out a few use cases but they're pretty niche. Mostly to do with controlnet automation, gen one image then immediately use it as a reference for another.

Photorealistic models, they tend to make boring compositions and they suck at prompt comprehension. You can gen stuff with a noob-based model or even noob itself, then use refiner or img2img on a photoreal model with this gen as a reference. All with one click. Would greatly improve the SDXL refiner flow in general, but nobody really uses that anymore.

Cosplay gens, they work poorly on characters that are not recognized well, only have a few hundred images. I shared a workflow on /e/ before that takes two prompts, one for the body one for the head. Gen with the first prompt, use Adetailer's detection model to find the face, then re-run the gen with same seed, controlnet of the original pic, and regional prompter changing the prompt for just her face region to the other girl.

Some other niche stuff. Regional sampler, where you gen different areas of the image with different models. So you could use Flux for a detailed background and blend it with your noob 1girl. Regional lora scheduling, when you're doing 2girls but each one needs a lora. etc.

I use photo mosh for doing effects like that. I believe i also cropped the gif to remove their watermark or w/e. It's how i made this "Kitsune stalking you on a trailcam" thing a while back. You can adjust the range of like 20 different effects so it'll look differently each time, shit's free too.

Had to send my latest save file to Legend of Total War. All Gutter Runner stack with 3 engineers for extra ammo and speed, got caught underground by 4 dwarf armies. If I flee I get hit by 4 different armies one led by Belegar, one led by Thorgrim and one led by Thorek. It's a bit more than my single army can take but the underground battle has no room to move.

He asked for more disaster battles and got hundreds two months ago so it's unlikely he'll get to mine but I can always hope.

I don't think it's superstition, but it shouldn't be a hard requirement either, just make sure you allow for enough space. Just to take three (mostly) unrelated concepts, Azur Lane's Musashi, Motorcycles, and Sailor Senshi, and I'm still able to easily generate a okay-looking bike, albeit a little compact (or Musashi's just that huge). But I think Japanese superbikes are just easy for this model to generate without a CN; cars, on the other hand, are a real crapshoot.

The model that I use most often just recently got an update, so I've been testing out some of my old prompts to compare them. I'm not sure which one I like more. Picrel is the newer model, and I'm afraid it might be a bit too flat and saturated. The older model seemed to have more texture and depth even though the newer model more consistently good gens. Opinions?

There were others in the newer model that had a bit less shine (like picrel), but it is weird. I'll try experimenting with some of my settings to see if I can reduce it. It might fix the saturation problem too.

I think I've found the issue. One of the style prompts I used to use in the old model was "ligne claire" which would add add a bit more vibrancy to the colors of any gen I made with them. The old model had fairly muted colors by default, but the newer model is much more colorful by comparison, so "ligne claire" caused it to over-saturate. This might not be a consistent fix, but at least this specific character isn't orange anymore.

So im using noobai_vpred, no loras or artist tags. just the base model with a controlnet. Ive been listening to alot of paramore so i looked up a concert and found a photo i liked. Then did the usual inpainting and what not. Added a filter in gimp etc. Nothing fancy. Main thing is messing with the CFG Rescale node and your starting CFG value. It drastically changes how coherent and clean the image is.
