i've had this character in my head for years but i dreaded trying to make her with ai because i thought getting the dumb thing to give her exactly four digits per limb as she's supposed to have would be a nightmare after all the corrections fucked up hands and feet were given, but it's not

the other reason i thought it would be a nightmare is because getting her skin markings even remotely right is impossible, and unfortunately that's still the case, the closest thing to use is tattoos but that brings in all sorts of tattoo motifs that shouldn't be there, and the cover is sporadic anyway, getting it on her face and for some reason her thighs is much harder than elsewhere

All of that is super outdated methods.
Nowdays you only use controlnet pose for doing very specific poses not for fixing hands

The afterdetailer is not perfect. IF is not detecting the hand increase the detection.
Now if what you mean is it doesn't fix the hand...well, after detailer doesn't "fix" hand only makes them more clear and detailer, if the hand is fucked afterdetailer won't fix it, only will make things worse.

For fucked hands you need to impaint them or doing another gen that is not fucked
