Dressed poorly my whole life and was thinking of getting better by starting simple. I've been scrolling through Uniqlo JP for inspo, but I can't tell if the men dress well. The women are much more stylish than the ones here in the US, but the men look feminine and nerdy in a lot of these outfit pics.

These aren't models per se though. They're store staff members, and they look pretty average to me. Most of the actual models are ironically black or white men.

It’s because the average Asian man is shorter than the average white male. Also white people look better with facial hair whereas most Asians can barely grow hair on their face, let alone their whole body. Better face = higher likelihood of looking good even if your clothes don’t fit well.

Traditional Asian clothes were roomy but also fit at the right places, like the shoulders, waist, ass, and draped in a deliberate way in others. Modern Japanese clothes fit more like garbage bags. There is no elegance or grace in them. It's messy and sloppy.
