Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. That tells you nothing when there are 25 listed allergens and likely dozens of other ingredients. If it had any less alcohol you couldn't pour it out the vial. Y EDP review

A precise mix of Sous le Pont Mirabeau and Invictus parfum. It has that aromatic, laurel-like, savory/salty aspect of ELDO's creation (with less marine notes, but still feels like a siren coming out of the salty see, under the scorching hot sun, covered in algaes) and the soapy (as in bar of soap) and bubblegummy feeling of Invictus Parfum.
Also it definitely has that Blue Fragrance DNA.
Not sweet.
I don't get apple, but I do get ginger. I get amber as well, perhaps.
Kinda universal perfume, I don't see it being restricted to certain prerequisites. Maybe not for winter. And it's not a clubbing scent like some people say , but it can work in that context easily.

There are other frags that have the BO stank but cumin isnโ€™t a listed note (like Pasha de Cartier Parfum), so it would only be speculation on my part, but Iโ€™ve seen others comment on it as well in reviews, so I donโ€™t think itโ€™s just me.

After a few wears I am sorry to say that I do not particularly enjoy Encre Indigo. I mean it's fine; it's a tea-based freshie with a little bit of citrus. But I find it dry and boring, and the iso e-super dominates too much. The rest of the EN line is more balanced with the inky, dusty vetivers (original), incense (extreme), or citrus (sport). Encre Indigo just has no character. Shame, it's the only one from the line I will not own a bottle of.

Most, if not all of the fragrances are completely unisex, I enjoyed poppy and barley, red roses, blackberry and bay, and lime and basil the most. I can easily see myself wearing those daily as a middle aged man.

There's also something like oud with roses, but I don't like oud, I don't understand the hype.

I got a bottle of Victoria Secret Very Sexy for Him. The listed notes are quite interesting but I can't smell any of them, except for maybe tangerine on the top, herbs in the middle, and a bit of clean musks. I think that's partly due to the sweetness that turns all the notes into a linear scent. It's quite a nice scent but the performance is atrocious. Right after spraying it on it feels like you only get part of the scent and have to look for the rest. As someone who enjoys mild performance this is quite nice for me, very relaxing. When compared to Ralph Lauren Romance for Men or Kenneth Cole Black the top notes with the tangerine/mandarin are similar, so much so that I thought VS had ginger notes. They are all very youthful fresh fragrances, with Romance being the longest lasting, cleanest shampoo smell. VS feels a bit less juvenile and doesn't smell synthetic to me. I want to keep trying VS to see if I can pinpoint the listed notes but it's probably just marketing fluff. I like VS, it lets me smell good and clean without nuking myself and losing myself.

I think this is ultimately too clean and too soapy. The Dior Original DNA that got Iris into the mix for men was more interesting. I would pick Dior Homme Original. the one with the yellow juice and the "original" on the front. or the actual original bottles from way back. That's my recommendation for other people. My personal favorite clean Iris freshie is Givenchy Gentleman EdT. The black cap clear bottle black label. the original one that everyone forgot. It's Iris + Pear and it's the best smell on Earth.

I got samples and here's what I think

Enclave - Amouage - Velvet / Vetiver Rose + Mint. Really nice like a velvet jacket with a good bit of freshness for quite a while. Soft warming effect from the patchouli in the heart. I think this can technically be worn anytime, but I think it works better when its cooler. It reminds me of Guerlain Homme from the mint, but the body here is "purple."

Journey Man - Amouage - A lighter fresher fragrance with a top that's full of spices and a body that's full of spices. This is a really nice and interesting fragrance for getting work done. The top is light green from the mix of bergamot and sechuan pepper, but smoothed out from the cardamom and neroli. It's a very cool effect that's does fresh modern but also old school throwback at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 30.

Colognise - Nishane - A very very classic cologne but with more layers. The smell at the top reminds me almost exactly of 4711, but after you spray it you get the Tea, Vetiver, and musk layers that make this stand out. I think this is an excellent no-brainer for literally any guy. It's also like Mugler cologne if That had more levels to it.

Still need to try Dia man, Honour Man, Overture Man, and Wet stone by Amouroud
