Not worth it. I'm still around 4kg off my goal weight (cutting after a 2-year bulk), so I figured I'd get a shapewear shirt so I'd already look good for those 2-3 months. Doesn't do anything to hide the hip fat, and actually makes it stand out more than when I just wear a normal shirt that's somewhat loose below the chest.
And wearing shapewear without anything on top of it just looks like fetish wear to me.
