How to get the fedora back in fashion?
I want to wear a wide brimmed hat for sun protection but fedoras stand out too much

Get a big straw hat they are great because they don't get hot and provide good shade

This or a Panama hat in a fedora style (most these days). I think the Panama is preferred for hot weather since it looks good both when suited up or when worn fairly casually.

This mullet & mustache combo guys wear nowadays just reminds me of Weird Al Yankovic. It's very unattractive.

Not by wearing low rise/saggy slim fit pants with suits like a nigger. What's wrong with modern "men"?

It's a trailer trash look. It's hilarious how zoomers thinks it's something cool.

You just blow in from stupid town? Get a sun hat

What on earth is this kind of hat called? I would call it 1950’s business working man’s hat. I’m getting closer results with vintage fedora. Maybe beaver Hyde fedora? I think it’s also a really small size.

That's just an old beater fedora that has seen much hard work, getting battered in the action over time. If you want to buy a newer condition fedora or other hat to weather it about as much, you could go ahead and achieve that lived-in look. Or, you could buy vintage hats that look rather worn with warped brims, misshapen crowns, and maybe a stain or few.

Kind of what I was thinking. I’ll just keep an eye out and eventually find one at a thrift or estate sale. Ideally something I could steam and shape similarly.

There's no reason for them to exist
Hats died with the advent of cars, no longer did people need to spend hours walking the streets.
You don't wear a hat inside, and nowadays everybody is inside.
