the only real issue with those old seiko 5s is the metal of the indexes and the hands it's mirror like and looks like tin and being highly reflective it's unpleasant to focus on. such a bummer. otherwise nice watch case 01V0 sealed well ok movt but that cheap shit metal ruins it.

funny, I'm also on the weekender-to-bm3130 (or whatever that model is)-pipeline.
the weekender showed more signs of the beating I give my watches, but it has indiglo.
the citizen has day-date and ecodrive and decent lume, but no indiglo. it's definitely a better watch. but the weekender was good . I hated both the stock straps, put the weekender on a nato and the citizen on an engineer bracelet.
the loud ticking on the weekender never bothered me but I seem to be firmly in the minority.

It was a joke shirt. A tacky black collared shirt with a single large print of voluptuous blonde woman against a yellow sun background with bold red kanji text. The shirt itself is actually very well made and looks nice. Good materials, good print, good execution. The concept is tacky; blonde woman in a pseudo-traditional Japanese context. Trying to look cultured, but it's really just thirst posting. That's ridiculous and I played it up with a ridiculous watch. The only thing that saved it is that, absent the print, it's a good shirt.

Looks like I asked in the wrong thread initially, repostan here:

Please suggest some watches for:
>budget
No more than a couple hundred $
>brand
Any, really, though I imagine there's not much choice under that budget
>watch type
Something simple and subtle, ideally also versatile i.e. can be seen as casual or reasonably dressy depending on the band.
>movement
Probably only quartz at that price?
>features
None aside from a second hand, the cleaner the face the better.
>strap
Interchangeable, ideally something that can take 2 or more of nylon, strap, milanese mesh or link bracelet.
>wrist size
17cm

Though if I'm entirely honest, I'm eyeing up Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 43mm instead of a "real" watch to replace my fit bit with something I can wear in the gym/on a run, in the office to stay on top of messages and whatnot, and on a night out drinking.

I'm a little concerned about the size for that particular one. Will a 43mm face and 49.5mm lug to lug (lugs curve down a little) look okay on a 17cm wrist?
Anonymous No.18518496
>>18518301
I have a 17cm wrist and the 44mm Citizen Promaster Marine I have has a lug to lug of 48mm. It doesn't look too big since it has an external rotating bezel that makes the inner dial look smaller. But without the bezel, it'll look big.
But since that's a smart watch, it has a free pass of being big. Better try one out and do a mirror shot.

You know that watches are supposed to be sized in regards to your wrist instead of your bicep right? You realize that this picture makes you look like a retard that doesn't know how to properly wear a watch, let alone know big said watch should be?

Yes, and nice SNXS twins you have. I really like this reissue design and the wearability is good. Plus it has 20mm lug width so my aftermarket straps fit.

I know you have never exercised but if you did you'd learn that having something tightly wrapped around your appendages which overflow with blood doesn't feel great.

Tightly wrapped... Are you genuinely stupid? You clearly don't know how to properly wear a watch, which is just about the simplest thing in the world.
Please just leave and stop ridiculing yourself.

Been wearing my new 1963 all weekend. It runs around -5 seconds a day which is honestly much better than anticipated. The (surprisingly high quality) strap and movement both appear to be genuine sea-gull parts as well. The weakest part of the watch I'm noticing is the finishing on the case is poor, especially around the bezel area. Aside from that small detail it feels more like a 300-400 dollar watch.

You seem retarded, a different model would be not 1963, as 1963 is the model name.
It is like if you posted this explorer and said check out my daytona and i when politely say that it is in fact not daytona you go into retard rage.

They make a bunch of different watches labeled as the 1963, the chronograph is just the most popular one.
