Apparently "low rise" pants that sat at the hip bone were not typical until the "hippies" started wearing pants like that.
High rise Chads win again.

the younger millenials grew up thinking the low rise shit with an untucked tall tee was normal and "how clothes are supposed to fit" forgive them they do not know any better.

He looks like a dysgenic subhuman. Your torso isn't supposed to look as tall as your legs. Rule of thirds isn't some random number or trend. It's based on the human anatomy and ideal proportions. This is why libturds shouldn't be allowed anywhere that involves sciences and reality. Surrendering the arts to the anti-science libturd lunatics and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Yes, low rise was marketed by gay designers and corporations to be a sexual and suggestive look, by making it appear like your pants are dropping down or you wore them hastily after (gay) sex. But there's a time and place for everything. Nobody wants to look at you 24x7 with your pants on their way down. Besides, you're not a skinny millionaire rockstar. You're just some ugly fat retard on the streets.
>>18500147
For people like that there's mid rise. Low rise has no reason to exist besides making men like fags.

That was literally what millennial girls used to wear in the early to mid 2000s. And then gay emos adopted that look in the late 2000s and pushed it onto straight men.

"Vibes" is something ugly dysgenics use to cope with their inferior existence. Beautiful people look best when fashion is used to enhance their natural beauty, superior genetics and fitness. They don't really need fashion. They'll look good even in a plain white tee and blue jeans. Faggots being genetic abominations and mentally ill try to corrupt normal people and their aesthetics with ugly fashion to feel better about themselves. And practicality and functionality always comes before form in clothing. If your clothes aren't functional and comfortable (which low rise isn't), compliment your body's structure and movement, and align with your lifestyle, then you're just a cosplaying clown.

>vibes
vibes are mostly natural proportions, like the golden number which in most people will be exactly at the bellybutton
the rules of thirds is probably some retarded conclusion that came from that
Anonymous No.18500233
>>18500221
And what's retarded about it, retard? The thirds are literally in there. 1/3rd is the torso above your waist (bellybutton), and 2/3rds below it that includes your hips and legs. It demarcates where your shirt and pants should end and begin to accentuate your natural proportions.
People throughout history wore their pants (and skirts) at the proper waist because that's where your lower back bends and twists. If you wear your pants lower than that, the waist band of your pants is going to dig into your urinary bladder, especially while working and sitting down, making it uncomfortable.
So it's not only functional, but also looks more natural and proportionate because it follows your body's structure. Beauty is about having the ideal proportions, and fashion is meant to enhance and complement that. Trying to fuck with it and "subvert" it is postmodernist degeneracy, similar to what they did to architecture.

>>18500188
Where do you wear your shirt and pants, retard? On your face and feet? Your shirt starts at your collar bone and your pant end at your ankles or shoes, while ideally beginning at your waist. The height of people feet doesn't vary much. The size of your head will matter only if you're an under 5'4" elite manlet.

I'm under 20% bodyfat, but I was cursed with feminine fat distribution as a man. So it's always been a struggle for me to know how my pants should sit around the waist... or even where my waist actually is.

But high-rise just feels right. Almost like wearing a garter or something, you just feel locked-in and secure. Almost my entire adult life was the skinny jeans era, and I really just wore them to make legs look longer. But it was never right for me or my body. Loving the current trend of looser and higher.

>But high-rise just feels right
It does. High rise is based and feels liberating, because it frees up your hips and legs to move freely, instead of clutching and constricting them like a vice.
>Almost my entire adult life was the skinny jeans era, and I really just wore them to make legs look longer.
Skinny low rise jeans don't make your legs look longer. Quite the opposite. They make your torso look longer than your legs, like a midget's body.

Anonymous No.18503315
>>18503090
No they fucking don't. Low rise makes them look even fatter by blending their torso and hips into one giant unit, while their legs look like they're stuck to the bottom of a pear. Men with pear shaped body should wear high rise relaxed fit pants, so that it gives a straighter silhouette to their hips and legs.

His hip bone IS near that line, sweatie. Where do you think men's belly button is? It's like an inch or two above the hip bone. Try checking it on your own body. But instead of resting his pants above the hip bone, that guy is wearing his pants at his dick.
