>>18501748everyone's feet are shaped different. there's no one answer as to what shoe is good for your feet.
watch some foot doctor zach on youtube especially this video which goes into how you can tell what shape a shoe is and what shape your foot is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqn8k3tVl6c
avoid anything with a thick, squishy foam sole. those are only good for sports. when you are walking or especially standing its just a ton of unnecessary instability which is not good for your feet and can actually fuck up your sense of balance over time. for walking and standing you want a pretty minimal midsole.
the things to pay most attention to for typical casual lifestyle usage:
the shape of the last the sneaker uses, the midsole (what materials it has, how thick it is - referred to as stack height, how much heel toe drop it has etc)
the lockdown and the fit in the heel>toes>midfoot
there's 3 main last shapes and each brand has their own variant so some brands are narrower/wider/etc.
