The guy in the pic looks about 22 at most. You're a child, go rock dumb tee shirts. You'll look back at pictures of yourself and laugh at how silly you look, but you still gotta just go for it in your youth.

Are people still wearing those stupid baggy pants? And no, graphic t-shirts are dumb and juvenile. They're just a couple levels above tattoos. The reason graphic tees became popular in the 90s and 2000s is because this kind of technology of screen printing colorful plastic images onto clothes was new and fancy back then. Until then the way to make designs on clothing was through embroidery. So brands used it to screen print all kinds of things on shirts to manufacture unique product lines using the same base t-shirts. And people (mostly kids) used them to stand out, like using tattoos to draw people's attention.

I like my shirts to last more than a few months and graphics turn to garbage after a few washes. I prefer embroidered logos.
Anonymous No.18509163
Nothing wrong with graphic tees but you should have some variety in your wardrobe. /fa/ was obsessed with the idea of basics back in the 2010s and rallied hard against graphic tees as childish around the time when they people were doing shit like printing Nike and Adidas logos on the same Gildan hoodie, and the whole over logoed thing from the 90s was back (see streetwear and the logo down the sleeve shit, or slapping Japanese/Korean text over everything.

But I keep some basic solid colored tees when I just need to get up and throw something in real quick, and basic colored button ups

You outgrow them in your 30s unless you’re wearing it ironically for the most part. you can still wear them and it can still look good or stylish but it should be a small part of your shirt rotation, don’t be that cargo shorts and graphic tee every day guy

I'm curious to see if baggy has come back as the mode or if this is just another dressed by the internet trend that'll go quick
I see legit fashion blogs that seem to think skinny is already making a comeback.
Baggy was just the mode in the 90s and 00s, but really skinny never left and will remain a fit that stays around but it'll basically be the reversal.

If you were still doing baggy by like 2010 you were seen as a fashion normie who was behind. Skinny became normie, Zoomers needed to rebel and baggy is back. I want to see if after some time with baggy being the thing, and if the people sticking to skinny/slim fits through baggy's comeback will become the "I don't give a fuck about fashion" people and then skinny becomes the it thing again because it the DGAF option. Baggy's comeback came from that normcore shit that was trying hard to look like they didn't care, the last breath for the 2000s/2010s hipster.

Graphic t-shirts are fine.
Thrifted ones are considered cool now, and normies also think the vintage-looking ones from fast fashion shops are cool.
And normies also don't see anything wrong with graphic t-shirts anyways.

But wearing plain ones is a bit more elevated of a look in every context. Just go with what you feel, I personally feel better wearing minimal graphics (I do wear sleeveless band tees though in the summer).
