I recently saw an Allan Watts film about fashion. What most interested me was the part where he said that fabric, rectangular fabric, should conform to a person's shape, and then dignity is created. This is the opposite of those tight-fitting garments. I've always been curious why wider garments, shirts, and so on, that create folds, look so good. And now I know – they create dignity.
