Polo shirts are genuinely awful. Worse than a t-shirt, because a least a t-shirt doesn't pretend to be smart.

Aren't they like 60 bucks? That's a total normal price these days.

In Europe they both seem to range from 60 euro to 140, usually somewhere in the middle.

I personally wear Lacoste because they're a european brand, but most importantly my parents had some as I was growing up and gave me a couple to wear as a teen, and probably for that reason it's one of the few logos I can endure on clothing.

I actually have a good amount of VV stuff. Their pants/belts/ties/jackets are a lot better than their polos and OCBDs
We had a VV outlet and my friend worked there so with the employee discount everything was ~25 dollars.

this
Polo shirts are for people who are afraid of commitment
either commit into a button down or a t-shirt

I haven't seen a white man wear these brands since 2010 (they trended in middle school for a while)

I wear polos with baggy shorts and flip flops. Everyone knows they are the bare minimum upgrade from a t-shirt.

People who can't dress for shit flock to Polos, giving them a bad rep. They're a good alternative to regular shirts, and that's it. Wear them with trousers and maybe a jacket or don't wear them at all. Black, white, grey, dark green, navy and no other colours. No labels. Slim and loose fit look awful too. No short sleeve Polos with jeans, only long sleeve and that's just as an alternative to a sweater

Now you can wear a Polo shirt without looking like an Indian

i have 4 or 5 vintage made in france striped lacoste polos that look and feel so good. theyve fallen hard since then, sad to say. the made in vietnam shirts arent even remotely as good as the old ones. yet another example of society deteriorating

lacoste is the most lindy and evergreen but ralph for the american prep vibes

but neither are the pinnacle of quality so sunspel or john smedley if you must

only niggas who can't dress shit on polos, where people get filtered is because you need to be masculine and have some muscle mass to pull them off

Both are retarded and cringe, I can't respect people paying premium for a stupid crocodile logo. Wear a polo without branding.

Polos don't need to be ironed, that's why they are better than shirts. Polos sweatshirts are also supremely based.

The new Lacoste classic polos that are made in Portugal are pretty nice.
The current Ralph Lauren mesh polos don't even use long staple cotton anymore so they are probably the same quality as any cotton polo you can find at the mall.
