Re: OP's question... It's kind of already happening. You really do see the tan blowout guido guys running around sometimes, usually at the gym, but they're always very skinny and pretty young. They don't roid like back in the day, which I see as a good thing. With girls, I see the 00's gyaru style all the time at the mall. No ratchet nails though, thank fucking God, and the tanning is not as dark either (this is a shame.) I think people are looking for an escape to a better time. Emo is coming back too.

BTW: Can anybody give me a lead on the exact Seaside Heights shirt behind Ronnie's head? I looked on the Shore Store website and can't find it. Will buy vintage if needed.

Disregard the filename... In retrospect, I'm not sure who is the undisputed queen of gyaru/ bimbo/ Jerseycore (although Namie Amuro is definitely up there.)

Need to get some more material... It has been at least a year since I last dropped in to troll /cgl/ and my material was already stale since last time. It's worth posting here once, though, because a lot of people don't know about how this style dominated East and West equally in the 00's.

I see tan blondies and brunettes out in public all the time, but their look is really not as extreme as the old Jersey style, which is so sad. People are tanning less, and overall wearing much more neutral clothing. The Jersey look is so much less popular nowadays. Women are accessorizing less and don't do ANYTHING with their hair anymore. I wouldn't mind this move towards ""modesty,"" except that all of these bitches still have a body count over 9000. Like, if you're going to be a gigantic turboslut anyway, then can you please dress like one?! lol. Keep the tradition going! Gyaru style for life.
