Watch culture is VERY gay. The idea of brand equity is so annoying but rich people still fall for it >BUT IM ACTUALLY BASED EUROPA EPIC CHAD FOR BEING A PATEK FAN
Aesthetically speaking I like Cartier tanks the most, regardless watch fans are basedjak rich pedants males which ruins the hobby

Whoever made this is 15 years behind the times, JLC does not have a single model that costs less than a Cartier now (aside from ladies' size quartz Reversos)

I have a work watch and a leisure watch but the leisure gets stuffed up regardless. How do you justify buying overpriced watches? How do you not scuff up your watches during the day? Are you guys not doing much manual jobs or hobbies? Or do you save your expensive watches for formal events only?

I donโt wear a watch while working or lifting/hiking. If I do itโs my beater (Oris diver 65). The nice ones are for drinking or doing stuff

get the fuck off my board poser
I feel like all watches are try hard. Nothing against the watches themselves but theyโre quite obviously just jewelry and serve no real function. The only reason youโd wear a standard watch without GPS or fitness tracking or whatever is to flex your wealth, which is brown-coded. I donโt see how wearing a Tag Heuer is any different than wearing Louis Vuitton or driving a BMW.
