Trunks, boxers, and boxer briefs all become briefs anyway. Even underwear that claims not to ride up still rides up. To me, it's some sort of cosmic message that all underwear should be briefs and want to be briefs anyway.

Yeah, I've tried them and they're actually really comfortable once you get used to them, I'm pretty well endowed and I've never found anything that comes close to the support you get. I used to wear them for hiking etc. on hot days since they've basically got the advantages of going commando (cool, no restriction) but with protection and support for the junk. I was always paranoid wearing them though, afraid I'd show whaletail or have an accident and get laughed at by nurses or have an opportunity for a hookup with a girl and then get laughed out of the bedroom or whatever, and ended up just throwing them all away when I moved.
