A tip tho is use more lubrication. youll get how hard to press through trial and error. Its different for every person.

You gotta go with the grain. Which can vary depending on which side you're shaving. Also take the safety razor pill and buy Feather blades.

I only ever cut myself when the blade is extremely dull, forcing me to go over the same patch multiple times.

I got frustrated and hacked away at my neck without enough water or cream. I was asking more like how the fuck do people line this shit up properly. I've been shaving for 14 years and I can't make a fucking straight line or make sure both sides are even to save my life.
