Imagine you, as an assumedly average to above average male, marry and reproduce with a girl who looks like a 9 to you, while genetically being a 3. Your child comes out looking like Quasimodo, and you have no idea why. And if you do, you know that you're either subjecting your child to a lifetime of ugliness or forcing them to one day go under the scalpel as well. I'm not too sure about others, but that sounds horrific enough alone to me.
Plus there's the added negatives of it being deceptive if not disclosed, which is a big red flag alone, even if you don't plan to have children.
If you're happy with never procreating and living with a lie, more power to you I guess, but that's not an admirable life in my opinion.
Stuff like hair transplants for balding men also fall into this category, but with how prevalent it is, and the easy deflection of "well, someone way back on the mothers side might have had it" or something can make losing the genetic lottery as the son of a fraud less fatal to the ego.

These images are never taken directly post op, obviously.
But if you look at the skin marks, blemishes and eyebrow pattern as well as eye color, it's obviously not an entirely different person.
Unless it is a good photoshop job that left the head intact while transplanting only certain facial areas seamlessly.
