Yup thrift stores really are the best for this kind of stuff. No one wears button downs anymore so you can readily find them, often in brand new condition. I found a vintage white oxford the other day and it had the decades old tags still on it. Almost feels like a crime to take them off.

I agree with >>18563238 >>18563248 >>18563261
I've found that buying used items (ebay, thrift stores, etc.) from top brands is often going to be better than anything you can buy new until you start spending the big bucks. You get quite a bit more selection too. Sometimes, used still tops the new expensive stuff simply because of enshittification. If you want, take the used stuff you buy to dry cleaning and it'll basically be as good as new (depending on the quality of the cleaner). Buying "new old stock" is also a great option.

Literally the first result on Amazon, anon, though I feel the need to point out that there are much better options than this.

Funny enough I wear slim/extra slim so I have the opposite issue where I have trouble finding anything that isn't made for fatties.

I was looking for amazon essential regular fit buttons up yesterday and all it would show me was slim fit. I know there are better options but for $20 I like them. If I wear a white shirt around my wife she ends up getting her makeup all over it, so its nice to have cheap ones around.

You're making it sound like you're just nuking them with bleach or something, anon. You're scaring me
Do you want advice for getting out makeup stains? I just hit mine with dish soap and hydrogen peroxide. Don't use makeup remover.

Im...im not supposed to nuke them with bleach?

I buy them at Hugo Boss or Armani.
Anonymous No.18566332 [Report] >>18566683
does it fucking matter? you layer them under something else anyway, right? you're not just, like, wearing that, as, like, your shirt, right? unless you're doing it ironically, in which case its a statement designer piece, right? right, anon?

Bleach is pretty bad for the fibers in your clothes as well as your appliances/plumbing and increases the risk of color transferring onto your white shirts. Also, it obviously doesn't work for clothes which aren't white.
>>18566319
>Hugo Boss
Honestly I kinda dislike the material (some kind of wool-cotton blend) they use. I think it's one of those things where the "brand" is more valuable to customers than the actual shirt. I have one of their shirts but only because of coincidence.
>Armani
Literally clothes for [teenagers]
>>18566332
I think that the clothes you wear matter, even if the entire article of clothing isn't visible from the outside. Not sure if that's a controversial take on fa

Honestly the Amazon stuff is fair quality. Check out stores like Old Navy, Gap, and Sears if that one is still around (they all closed in Canada), usually if there's a sale a shirt will be $10-15.

Or check your local thrift stores. If you've already sold your information to China, Temu and Shein stuff can be okay as long as you don't have pets, children, and you're not retarded enough to chew your clothing.
