How and when does one increase weight in 5/3/1? I see there is a seventh week protocol, but that seems to happen way too often. It says that I am supposed to do it between leader and anchor programs. I am doing two leaders with one anchor. Do I deload between the leader and anchor, then increase the weight by my new training max in between the anchor and leader, or do I increase the weight by 5 or 10 pounds no matter what?

First time pulling over 200kg since the start of April and I hit 280kg beltless, well happy I'm at the point I can hit that sort of weight without any sort of prep or as part of a peak now

Today was pretty good, although I did not want to be there for about the first 45 minutes. Snatches were supposed to be 55kg, but the 40kg I did hit my second pull better about 6 times a row. I don't really like how you have to try snatching even with almost no weight. Its the worst part about the olympic lifts for sure. Yesterday I did hit a 4-plate dip for a double. I don't have kg plates. Going past 4 plates is not very comfortable. I will hit 4+25lb for the bw dip, but I don't know if I will go much past that.
I forgot to say the bfr training leveled up my cardio again. Going to keep doing it for sprinting and most of my afternoon training sessions. I need to buy new wraps soon because one of my THPs are freying. Titan still has like 3 week lead times for everything lmao. I just post my blog mostly. There is not much worth talking/reading about, and shitposting about my training helps me train better.

Asking for advice here cuz I love powershitting and you guys must have knowledge (or maybe not as we're posting on /fit/)
Have any of you ever had problem with the short head of the biceps (a stabilizer on free weight ohp and bench)? I've been lifting for almost a year now and I love lifting, but sadly I'm getting absolutely cockblocked by biceps tendinitis on bench and ohp variations given the variations use free weight. I don't have this problem on machines as the path of movement is already determined by the machine and I don't have to stabilize.
Visited two docs, but neither of them could help. Resting does not help. Tried some anti-inflammatory meds specifically made for tendons, did not help at all. Low weight high rep does not help. Icing the area does not help.
I have absolutely no idea what to do anymore. I just wan't to powershit with barbells in peace but I just can't.
My best bench after a year was 95 kgs for 4 reps (not impressive but I'll take that as a newb) but today I even managed to fail 62,5 kgs at the 2nd rep.

Good session today. I am switching the bulgarians to just regular, no tempo or anything because tomorrow will have to be tempo leg press for my knee. I underestimated the effects of horizontal leg press on my knee and glute tendon, so I will have to do isos/slow tempo tomorrow on the leg press, and keep the bss as a "regular" lift. Everything else went good. Glute tendon is healing finally. Changing from 45 degree chin hold to chest to bar chin-hold. I erroneously thought I would get more bicep action going 45 deg, but the whole way is way better. It feels similar to when you do zerchers on your biceps. Going to work up to 30-45 second holds. Normally I would have questions about my weight, but I use a Tanita scale (real ones know HD-351), and its actually accurate. Making weight is a lot easier with a good scale. Bulgarians might be my favorite squat variation so far. I also like low box squats. Never really got a lot out of front squats, safety bar squats, or hack squats.

Just need to find the right exercise to hit the tendon. You may need to do two or three different ones. If you hurt it doing the exercise, you can usually just do very light iso -> very slow tempo version of the exercise.

Every time someone talks about training at westside it turns out they were deviating a lot from the template.

Did not have much time this morning, only could do some deadlifts. No pain again. I could feel it start to pull, but no more than that. Healing is going well. Afternoon training went well, sprints are really coming along, cardio is starting to get to where I want it to be. Its still not good, but finally getting close to not dog shit. The problem was that my elbow flexors were much weaker than my extensors so weights that I could move concentrically were painful on the eccentric. The solution in my case was to strengthen the elbow flexors.
Recovering from tendinitis in any locality is the same process. First, you reduce intensity. Second, you make sure your recovery is on point. Third, you start doing targeted isometrics. For example, if you had quad tendinitis you'd do wall-sits. For biceps tendinitis DYOR on what those constitute, exactly. Maybe some kind of hammer hold or something.
