I saw a recovery process video from someone that got this surgery. It's just not worth a 2 year long recovery for running/training, to only have 80% of the leg strength you originally had. Plus it doesn't help that your arms are not proportional anymore. The price isn't the problem but the 2 year wait to train again isn't worth it imo.
