>>76245543 (OP)Ok so in 2015 i went to war, i joined the kurdish ypg in syria. Long story short, over the course of very eventful months, i slept on the ground 99% of the time. Often with nothing but my chestrig as a pillow and a blanket. And it was great. Took two nights to get used to it, but then it was heaven. No bad dreams, no backpain, no slacking in the morning. You lie down, fall asleep, awake, feel fit, get up. The fact that i traveled a warzone in the back of a toyota hilux as part of a militia probably played its part, but still
Now, exactly 10 years later, i couldn't imagine sleeping on the ground or without a pillow. The magic is gone. But i have memories of perfect sleep.
