Cider mostly. It's one of the best alcohol per dollar things you can buy here. Cheap wine prices, but it tastes pretty good, I like the gingerale flavors. My second choice is usually gin, usually Gordon's. I'll fill a glass 1/3 with boiling water, dissolve a teaspoon of honey, the 1/4 lemon or lime juice (or both), and then brim it with gin

just eat less throughout the day. you'll have more calories for alcohol and you'll get drunk faster so you end up having fewer drinks. just make sure to get your protein in for the day and have some electrolytes handy.

I think vodka is the lowest calorie per alcohol volume out of the common drinks, but most distillates are around the same (and whiskey tastes a million times better and you can drink it neat, but that's just an opinion).
I did some research a while ago and the most reliable way to get drunk for few calories and cheap was distillate + white wine. after you drink a higher proof drink such as vodka or whiskey, dropping to a lower abv drink will get you more wasted than it normally would. but that's a double edged sword, because it's easy to lose consciousness like that

It's either whiskey (nothing below single malt) or dry/semi dry wines, depends on the situation. Beer very rarely on a hot day out or with a meal (the whole high GI thing makes it not worth it even if you like the taste).

I stopped drinking and replaced it with low dose opiates and my life improved so drastically it was ridiculous.
I've tried everything to fight depression for 20 years now and the only thing that worked is a quarter of a pill a day.
Yeah yeah, I know I'm gonna get addicted. I don't give a fuck my life is much better I'm actually able to do things.
When I was drinking every day I felt like shit 24/7 lost friends and partners, nearly died multiple times.
Now I'm in the best shape of my life, have a social life again, work a decent job and am training for a career I want to do.
