Water fasting by far for me was the best way to get lean but unfortunately if you want to maintain gains it isn't good for that. Fatties that never lifted before should water fast first and start lifting after they aren't fat anymore.

I did 3 day fast last week. It went so well I'm going to do it again this week. Had my last meal a couple hours ago.

yeah me now. idk why. 2 years ago i did 3/3day fasts no problem and felt great from them. this year i've tried twice now to do another 3 day fast and both times by the middle of day 2 my heart rate was skyrocketed and i felt like death. breaking the fast with a light snack calmed it down in minutes. also was properly supplementing with electrolytes.

Yeah I had that happen when I did an 80 hour fast a few weeks ago. Apparently it's pretty common, but it did make it hard to get to sleep. And yes I was getting my sodium and potassium

Fasting is hard but strictly adhering to a normal caloric deficit is harder. Im not impressed that someone can fast for a week if they can't also go a whole week eating 1500cals daily of pure protein and fiber without having a bite of anything else.

Fasting actually feels great for me. I've been doing regular 24-36 hour fasts for about a year and I always look forward to the fasting days knowing that I'm gonna feel light, alert, and wont have to worry about lunch or dinner bs. I wish I could fast for longer periods but I dont wanna engage with electrolyte autism + I don't really care about ketosis.
